PROJECT OVERVIEW
Following the launch of Mazda’s flagship CX-90 MHEV and PHEV three row SUVs, Mazda Canada was looking to strengthen its position in the Canadian EV market with a net-new electrification webpage. Acting as a “North Star,” this page informs and educates customers about Mazda’s EV strategy, showcases current electrified vehicle offerings and EV technologies, and delivers a cohesive narrative on innovation and sustainability. This initiative drove engagement and enhanced brand awareness, solidifying Mazda’s position in the growing EV market.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Operated as the designated point of contact and Project Manager who ensured that all pieces of the puzzle were put together in order for the launch of this project.
THE CHALLENGE:
Between 2022 and 2024, Mazda Canada introduced four electrified vehicles: the CX-90, CX-70, MX-30, and CX-50 Hybrid. As Mazda's presence in the EV space is still developing, many consumers may be unfamiliar with its electrified lineup, EV technology, charging options, and powertrains. Additionally, the brand currently has limited visibility in the EV space on its website.
TARGET AUDIENCE:
The target audience for this page includes EV-curious prospects, both new and existing Mazda customers, who are considering an electric vehicle but may feel uncertain about what "EV" entails or what owning one involves. The primary goal of the website is to educate consumers about electric vehicles and help them understand how EVs could integrate into their daily lives.
GOALS:
The goal is to create a dedicated web destination that provides an in-depth look at powertrains, charging options, and EV FAQs, while enhancing Mazda's EV value proposition. This site will serve as a trusted resource to inform, educate, and inspire customers, ultimately guiding them toward making a purchase.
